Terms of Service
Effective September 13, 2026
1. Agreement to these terms
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of MathPath, a web-based math practice program available at mathpathrehab.com (the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
2. What MathPath is
MathPath is a self-paced math practice tool spanning fifteen skill levels from Pre-K through college. Content can be read aloud, exercise difficulty adapts automatically to your recent performance, and you may optionally share your progress with a therapist or caregiver you invite.
MathPath is an educational practice tool, not a medical device and not a substitute for professional medical, psychological, or therapeutic care. If you are using MathPath as part of a rehabilitation or care plan, it is a supplement to — not a replacement for — guidance from your licensed provider. Always follow your provider's advice over anything in the Service.
3. Accounts
- You must provide a valid email address and keep your password confidential. You are responsible for all activity under your account.
- Accounts are personal. Do not share your login with anyone other than through the invite feature described below.
- Tell us right away if you believe your account has been accessed without your permission.
4. Subscription and billing
- Full access to MathPath requires an active subscription, currently offered monthly ($9.95) or yearly ($99.95, about 16% less than paying monthly for a year).
- New subscriptions include a 7-day free trial regardless of which plan you choose. A payment card is collected up front; if you do not cancel before the trial ends, the card on file is charged automatically and the subscription renews at the interval you picked until cancelled.
- Payment is processed by Stripe. MathPath does not receive or store your full card number.
- We may change subscription pricing or plans going forward; we will give you notice before a change takes effect on your account.
See our Refund Policy for how cancellation and billing disputes work.
5. Sharing progress with a care team
If you invite someone as a therapist or caregiver, they can view your practice progress and placement results on a read-only basis. You may revoke that access at any time, immediately ending their visibility into your data. If someone invites you, the same applies in reverse — you can view their progress read-only until they revoke it, and you never gain the ability to change their account or answers.
6. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- attempt to bypass the subscription or access controls;
- scrape, reverse engineer, or systematically extract content from the Service;
- use the Service for anything unlawful or to harass another person;
- interfere with the Service's normal operation or attempt to access another user's account or data.
7. Intellectual property
The Service, including its exercises, generated problems, design, and branding, belongs to MathPath's operator. Subscribing gives you a personal, non-transferable license to use the Service for your own practice for as long as your subscription is active. Your own progress data remains yours; see our Privacy Policy for how it is handled.
8. Disclaimers
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available." We do not guarantee it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that adaptive difficulty will suit every learner. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.
9. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, MathPath's operator is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose.
10. Changes to the Service or these Terms
We may update the Service or these Terms from time to time. We will update the effective date above when we do. Continuing to use the Service after a change takes effect means you accept the updated Terms.
11. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Georgia, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute arising from these Terms or the Service will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Georgia, and you consent to their jurisdiction.
